Founded by Ahmed Hassan, P.E., PMP, UR Engineering Services P.L.L.C. is an engineering consulting firm specializing in geotechnical and environmental testing and inspection, along with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) services. Our company name and logo carry deep meaning — the bold "UR" monogram incorporates a stylized ziggurat and layered soil strata, representing the ancient city of Ur and our foundation in geotechnical engineering, while a green leaf reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility.
With over 15 years of hands-on experience, we support construction and infrastructure projects through reliable testing, thorough inspections, and a systematic QA/QC approach — verifying materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and delivering accurate, timely documentation. From our Michigan base, we serve clients across multiple U.S. states and internationally, including Kuwait, Iraq, and the broader Middle East, bringing the same standard of precision and professionalism to every project regardless of scale or geography.

Ahmed Hassan, P.E., PMP
Principal Engineer & Founder
Ahmed Hassan is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas and Michigan and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), with more than 15 years of experience in civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering. He holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Kennesaw State University.
His experience spans complex infrastructure projects across the United States and internationally, including major assignments in Kuwait and Iraq. Ahmed founded UR Engineering Services PLLC to build a firm that combines technical rigor with genuine client partnership, delivering engineering solutions that are technically sound, practical, and achievable.
Drawing on his engineering expertise and project management experience, Ahmed brings a disciplined, client-focused approach to every project — emphasizing quality, constructability, accountability, and dependable execution. His vision is to build lasting client relationships through responsive service, rigorous engineering, and practical solutions tailored to each client's needs and project objectives.
